There is always so much to see and do when visiting, but there are some extra special events and celebrations going on during the high season of travel in November. Lets start with one of the most important events:
1. Dia de Los Muertos, Day of the Dead November 1-2
Also known as All Soul’s Day, there are few events around the world that can compare to Dia de Los Muertos. Celebrating all of the souls of those who have departed this Earth, Dia de Los Muertos features colorful costumes, incredible traditional foods, candy sugar skulls, folkloric dances and so much more. It is truly a celebration that should not be missed. You will find alters around the town and events in the town centers.
2. Los Cabos Tuna Jackpot, November 5-8
The winter months are known throughout Baja California Sur for being the best time of the year for some of the most well-known sport fishing in the world. Cabo has been recognized again and again for being a premier destination for anglers. From November 5-8, the world’s best fishermen will be headed to Cabo to participate in the Los Cabos Tuna Jackpot that pays out $570,000 in cash and $150,000 in prizes.
3. Los Cabos International Film Festival, November 12-16
Cabo San Lucas has also made a name for itself as a must-visit fine art destination. From November 12-16, films from all over the world will be shown in Cabo including selections from Canada, Mexico and other areas of the world that are in competition for $15,000 USD. Watch the trailer HERE.
